§ 97.04. ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES.

(A) The Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the city (HRA) is designated as the enforcement agency for this chapter and shall have the power to receive, hear and determine complaints as provided herein.
(B) The HRA Executive Director shall promptly investigate, upon complaint or upon his or her own motion, any violations of this chapter.
(C) If after investigation he or she shall have reason to believe a violation has occurred, he or she may refer the matter to the City Attorney for criminal prosecution, initiate civil enforcement procedures as herein provided, or enter into a settlement agreement which, when approved by the HRA Board of Commissioners, shall have the same force as an HRA Board of Commissioners order.
