§ 93.21. LICENSES.

(A) License required. No person shall keep a dog within the city without securing an annual license therefore from the City Clerk/Treasurer, who shall keep a record of all licenses issued and shall issue a metal tag for each license.
(B) License fees; expiration. The annual fee shall be set annually by the Council for each male, female or spayed female dog. Every license shall expire May 1 of each year. Any applicant for a license shall present acceptable proof that the dog has been in inoculated for rabies.
(C) Affixing tag. The owner shall permanently affix the tag to the collar of the dog so licensed in a manner so that the tag may be easily seen. The owner shall see that the tag is constantly worn by the dog.
